About Happy Life Mission
Happy Life Mission is a non-profit charity organization dedicated to bringing hope and care to abandoned children in Kenya through a three-fold ministry focused on rescue, education, and healthcare.
It all began in 2002, when Pastor Peter and Faith Ndungu responded to the heartbreaking reality of child abandonment by opening the Happy Life Children’s Home in Nairobi to care for three abandoned children. Through faith and the generosity of supporters, the home grew rapidly: from three children to more than a thousand children cared for over the years, and the mission expanded its services beyond shelter to include quality education and medical care.
Today the organization provides:
Rescue & shelter for abandoned infants and young children
Christian-based education from primary through high school
Holistic medical care via Jesse Kay Hospital
All without government funding — sustained entirely through the compassion of partners, donors, and volunteers.
